The Microsoft D365 Finance & operations retail management solution was the cornerstone of the solution delivered to meet the unique needs of Morrells UK. Due to the company running a very lean operation in terms of staff compliment, the requirement was, a simple and fast processing system with planning, manufacturing and distribution capabilities. Nectra architected and supported this implementation to meet the planning, manufacturing, internal and external distribution as well as over the counter sales needs of the business.

Barron boasts a world class facility, fully fitted with WCS (Warehouse Control Systems) to enable automation in stock movement between production processes for kitting and branding, as well as picking, packing and distribution bays. Microsoft D365 Advanced warehouse operations were used to trigger, track and control stock movement and processing, with a connection to the WCS being pivotal in the process automation. Nectra consultants designed, optimized and supported this solution in a multi-phase project.
